Bundled with Distributions

Amanda rpms are available as part of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and Fedora distributions. There are two binary rpms - amanda-server and amanda-client. You may also find the RPMs on the distribution media.

For SUSE, there is only one binary RPM - amanda.

Most Linux distributions (Debian, Gentoo, Ubuntu) also package Amanda. Search for the packages in your distribution of choice.

Note that the packaged software may not be the most recent release.
