Dumpuser

From The Open Source Backup Wiki (Amanda, MySQL Backup, BackupPC)

The dumpuser describes the username under which dumps will be performed. It is specified in amanda.conf(5).

In Amanda Community Edition, this is generally amanda, unless the package was compiled with a different user (for example, many BSD installs use backup).

In Amanda Enterprise Edition, the dumpuser is amandabackup.
