I have been a system administrator and siftware developer since the '80s and an avid fan and user of Amanda since the '90s.

My online life is an open book, since everything I ever posted to Usenet is googlable.

I worked at Hydril and Ensun in the '80s, then at Ferranti/Bailey/ABB (through multiple acquisitions) for about 20 years, before leaving to go back into software development in 2006. I am now an admin again at Landmark Graphics.
