Why does 'amdump' report that all disks failed?

Check your clients for proper configuration. Before you run 'amdump', make sure that 'amcheck' succeeds. Run 'amcheck' as the user you compiled AMANDA for (by using the --with-user configure-flag), this is also the user that should execute 'amdump'.
