An entity within Amanda that allows access to multiple volumes. A changer may be a physical, robotic tape changer, or a changer emulator for non-tape backups. For example, with vtapes, the changer is a logical device that changes from one virtual tape to another. Changers are described in amanda-changers(7) and specified in amanda.conf.
