ZRM for MySQL suite has been written in Perl with the aim of making it run on as many as possible distributions of Linux and Unix.
ZRM has been tested on Redhat, Suse Linux,Debian,Ubuntu, Gentoo linux distributions and Open Solaris/Solaris 10 on Intel and Sparc architectures. MySQL server backups have been tested on Linux, Solaris, Mac OS X and Windows platforms
It can backup community and enterprise MySQL servers running on any MySQL supported platform.
MySQL community versions 4.0.x (4.0.24 or later), 4.1.x, 5.x have been tested. MySQL enterprise server 5.0 has been tested.
