• 15+ years as linux power user and personal server admin (but not a professional systems administrator)
• 12+ years as a professional software/firmware developer/analyst (what the US folks call engineers but here in Canada we use the term analyst because engineer is reserved for Professional Engineers (like civil or electrical engineering)) sometimes on windows, but mostly linux (especially for true embedded work for which there windows would be more than pointless)
